Port Wentworth is announcing the groundbreaking of its newest park and the largestinvestment in the history of the city. This historic moment shows the commitment of the city to provide enhanced services to the residents. The park is over 150 acres and will accommodate the following:

• Two entrances at Monteith/Meinhard Road and Highway 30
• Four full-sized football and soccer (multi-use) fields
• Four tennis & eight pickleball courts
• A dog park
• A skatepark
• Covered outdoor basketball
• Gym nasium- to include two indoor basketball courts, locker rooms, restrooms, concessions, fitness center, offices, and potentially a daycare area
• Baseball, Softball and Tee-ball fields
• Batting cages
• Youth baseball fields
• Farmer’s Market Building/ Food Truck area
• Stage and Amphitheater
• Concessions/Restrooms
• Splashpad playground
• Playground
• Multi-use Trail System
• Historic Farm site and community gardens
