St Patrick’s Day – Savannah and Pooler Festivals

The City of Savannah announced proposed changes to this year’s St. Patrick’s Day festivities,
which will take place March 17. This year the City aims to scale back rowdy partying and shift the focus towards a more local, family-friendly affair.
Among the list of proposed rules is eliminating on-street vending and alcohol, which the city said will curb the drunkenness and littering that was often the parlance of pre-pandemic
years and encourage festival-goers to patronize Savannah’s brick-and-mortars instead.

Pooler’s St. Patrick’s Day Festival will host a mix of local businesses and independent festival vendors.
The preliminary list of food options are:
• Kona Ice
• Ritas on the Road
• Sweet Spice
• Ben & Jerry s
• Tamashi
• Chazitos
• Food Boxx
› Miss Katie’s Sweets
Renowned Food, LLC
• C. Alexanders
• Royal Tasty Avenue Food Truck
• WeeMolly’s fish and chips
The Tanger Beer Garden will be serving green beer, a common holiday beverage. Festival-goers can also expect a DJ, Irish music and games.
