The Lake Shore subdivision is a Property Owners Association community located in Port Wentworth, Georgia, in Chatham County, near historic Savannah.
The Lake Shore Homeowners Association, Inc. was incorporated in Chatham County on February 16, 2006.

The subdivision is comprised of Amberly Estates at Lake Shore, Braxton Manor at Lake Shore, The Cottages at Lake Shore, Holly Springs at Lake Shore, Lake Shore, Springwaterat Lake Shore, and the townhomes in The Villas of Lakeshore.

Lake Shore Amenities

Lake Shore has some amenities to offer to the residents. These include  a clubhouse, available for rental; a swimming pool, with kiddie pool; a 14 acre lake,  three ponds (one at beside the clubhouse, and one on either side of the main entrance from 30); and three playgrounds with equipment (one located beside the clubhouse, one on Chestnut Circle, the last one only accessible from Braxton manor Drive in Braxton Manor at Lake Shore). 

As well, there are many areas of common property that residents are free to enjoy. The common property cannot be utilized in such a way as to deny other residents its use. All equipment and trash much be removed after you have finished enjoying the areas so as to leave it ready for other residents' enjoyment..

The Lake Shore Homeowners Association, Inc.Board are responsible for soliciting bids, and hiring contractors to maintain the Lake Shore Homeowners Association, Inc. Amenities. Details of the bids and any award of contracts should be available in the Lake Shore Homeowners Association, Inc Board Meeting Minutes. 

The Lake Shore Homeowners Association, Inc. Board are responsible for oversight to these contractors, whether for landscaping, regular maintenance to the pool, clubhouse and lake, or for Pool Security during the season. If a resident sees problems with the maintenance, or other contractor activities, they should report this to Lanier, with photos if possible.

The Lake Shore Homeowners Association, Inc. Annual Dues pay for the upkeep and repair of the Lake Shore Homeowners Association, Inc. amenities.
  • Clubhouse

    The Lake Shore Clubhouse is available for rental to both residents of Lake Shore and non-residents.


  • Swimming Pool

    The swimming pool is located behind the Clubhouse. During the season, the hours are posted at the entrance.


  • Playgrounds

    Lake Shore has three playgrounds with equipment: one located beside the clubhouse at 1000 Lake Shore Blvd., one on Chestnut Circle, and the last in Braxton Manor.
  • Lake and Ponds

    Lake Shore has a 14 acre lake, accessible from the Boat Ramp on Laurel Lane. Fishing is catch-and-release only. There are also 3 ponds.

  • Common Property

    The common property cannot be utilized in such a way as to deny other residents its use. It must always be left in the state in which it was found.
